Same old Tories...

Britain today is controlled by the most right-winged and scandalous administration ever.
Cameron and his cronies don’t care about ordinary, working and vulnerable people. The only people they care about are themselves and their rich counterparts who prop them up.  Out of the 29 members of the Cabinet, 23 of them are millionaires. They want to make the rich richer, and the poor poorer. It’s as simple as that. Same old Tory ideology.
What have they done/what do they do?
Since the Tories emerged into the scene in the early 1800’s, all they have attempted to do, is to destroy proper people and proper jobs. If we continue to allow this to happen, then just wait and see what happens.
In the early 1979, Thatcher arrived into power. I have no shame in saying that she was the most evil and destructive leader ever to rule since Hitler. Since day one of her reign, she despised the working people; she despised the working people who had to work their socks off to put food on their families table; she despised the working people who were once the core of Britain’s workforce; and she despised the working people who once kept this country running.
Thatcher thought it would be clever to start privatising industries. She thought it would be clever to slash much-needed jobs which this country would need to succeed.  The coal mining industry was completely and utterly obliterated by her, which then caused an appropriate strike by the NUM. The National Rail was also sold off to private companies which also took out many jobs.  Also, this happened to British Steel aswell. People who worked the hardest were hit the hardest. It was an absolute outrage what Thatcher did to this country.
Now you may be thinking that Cameron is beginning to do the same thing. If you are thinking that, then you are 100% correct! He is attempting to privatise schools, the NHS, prisons and many other public sector services. Why is he doing this? There is only one reason. Pure ideology.  He wants to hurt the people with less money. This same old Tory ideology is continuing...
By privatising all of these services and industries, it is so predictable what is going to happen. Here is a simple example using “service X”.
·  Service X is a public service employing 1,000 people and receives £1m per yearfrom the Government.
·  The Conservatives privatise service X and a successful business invests.
·  The Government have in affect disregarded the service as being important and give the service less money.
·  The business then employs less people than previous, which results in fewer jobs.
·  The business receives more money and the owner becomes receives higher profits.
·  Workers become out of job whilst high up businessmen make immense profits.
·  The businessmen then fund The Conservatives! Hmm...
The rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer...
Without a shadow of a doubt, this Government has the potential to be far worse than Thatcher. This Government could potentially destroy this country.  Do me a favour, fight back.
(I will be writing more about this soon)
What should we do about it?
Action needs to take place. We need to fight back against this malicious Government. If we don’t, then this country will most definitely be worse than Margaret Thatcher’s administration in the 1980’s.
The Labour Party needs to take a bigger role in making action around Britain take place.  They need to listen out to the Trade Unions more and make that bond stronger than it has been in previous years. The Labour Party needs to take a stride to the left and stand up for the traditional principles in which the party was established for. This is the only way how we can dismantle this mess of a government.
Personally, I don’t think a General Strike would be a bad idea.
Forget the Blair years and go back to where we belong.

  1. Thatcher WAS working class, you blithering idiot. She was up against a Labour party of reactionary aristocrats and Little Englander public schoolboys. ("People from my sort of background needed grammar schools to compete with children from privileged homes like Shirley Williams and Anthony Wedgwood Benn")

I know you're only a young man, but perhaps save the ludicrous Hitler comparisons and misguided, ill-informed vitriol for when you're a tad more factually-equipped. It doesn't even bear thinking about what Britain's fate would have been if Wilson, Callaghan, Benn, Healey and their corrupt, champagne socialist cohorts had have been allowed to run the country into the ground even more than they did during the '70s.

Read a history book. Or, failing that, at least fucking Wikipedia.

  2. I'm not sure if you're being serious here.

After reading that first sentence, i know who the blithering idiot is. I've never heard so much dispicable nonsense in my life.

And no. I will not save my opinions about Thatcher until i'm more "factually-equipped". I'm already "factually-equipped" thank you very much.

Tony Benn would have been the greatest leader this country had ever witnessed. A tad better than your ferocious friends in Government now. They make me physically sick.

And please don't tell me what to do. I don't particularly like immoral people giving me instructions.

    Jog on.

  3. "I'm already 'factually-equipped' thank you very much." Clearly.

And how, pray tell, would your leftist utopia led by Anthony Neil Wedgwood Benn (2nd Viscount), fund this all-encompassing, union-dominated planned economy?

Private business pays for the public sector, dummy—without a robust, competitive private sector there won't be ANY jobs for the decent, hard-working people of this nation to fill. You can't just create them out of thin air.

P.S. I suspected this post may be a joke, too, but a read of the rest of this blog assured me you're entirely serious.

  5. 1. "she despised the working people" - Thatcher was working class
    2. "Thatcher thought it would be clever to start privatising industries" - Try talking to some economists, and you may realise it was more clever than you think
    3. "The Labour Party needs to take a stride to the left" -This shows a complete political ignorance. If Labour return to the left, and put themselves back in the hands of the unions they'll never win another election again.
    4. "I don’t think a General Strike would be a bad idea" - Then clearly you're not thinking.
    5. "I have no shame in saying that she was the most evil and destructive leader ever to rule since Hitler" - Not only is that plain stupid, it's also highly offensive to the thousands of people who died at the hands of Stalin and other dictators around the world. You should be ashamed of saying such a highly emotive, factually incorrect, and ignorant statement.
    6. "The coal mining industry was completely and utterly obliterated by her" - British coal destroyed itself, due to the massive losses it made year on year (the year before the first illegal strike it made a loss of £727 million). Not only this but the conditions were terrible and many hard working men died working in them. Thatcher did exactly what every other modern European economy did.

I suggest you take Jon's advise and stop saying such outlandish statements and claims until you're more 'factually-equipped'. Don't just listen to the rhetoric you hear about Thatcher (or any political leader) actually look at the facts, and genuine motives behind the decisions taken. I thought New Labour killed this kind of partisan political tribalism, but this blog shows otherwise.
